Expertise
I have more than 30 years experience in designing for new media, the internet, print and advertising. Here are some examples of projects you can contact me for. Most of the projects I do touch on several of these categories. Some of the best start with a small project in just one of these… Never hesitate to contact me if you have a question, or is you need an idea or some creative help.
Logo and corporate identity
A logo should be just right for you, your company or product. It should be distinctive, attract the right customers, and stand out from competitors. But most importantly: a logo should contain some of the unique personality and ideas that only you bring to the world.
And more than the logo everything about your look should support your vision and mission. From typography to custom made patterns and visual elements.
Website
The most important place your brand lives is the website. So the website should be well aligned with your brand and your strategic goals as an organisation. I am both a certified usability analyst and a member of the BNO, and will make sure the site is usable, clear and fits your corporate guidelines.
I am fluent in WordPress, from native themes, third-party builders, to custom development. But I can adapt to a wide range of technology and platforms, or built a website from scratch in php / javascript.
Marketing campaign and advertising
I can develop a creative design or concept to introduce your company or product to your market or customers. I can follow corporate design guidelines and still be creative and surprising. I will take your strategic idea and create an effective, funny or convincing graphic, series of posts, or video.
Interaction design
UX / UI / GUI / Usability; the design for screens and interactivity has a lot of specialist labels. I consider myself a generalist: I have a broad background in digital design, usability analysis, and branding, and can help you from defining the concept for a new app, improve the flow of navigation, or fine-tune the interface details.
Design for complex information
I love to take a complex issue, with lots of data, and make a simple, clear design or graphic or tool to disclose that data to your audience.
Sometimes this takes the form of an infographic, a powerpoint slide, or a web-based interactive tool. The goal always is to make complex or rich information accessible and understandable and actionable.
