Family businesses are proud drivers of the economy and deserve a solid platform to promote their interests.

The organisation Familiebedrijven Nederland is an association that promotes the interests of family businesses in the Netherlands. Family businesses make up 69% of all the companies in the Netherlands and are a major economic driver. FBNed is the platform where members from different family businesses can exchange experience and get training and support.

The goal of the website was to be a central hub for the members, which are all family businesses, as well as a platform to educate the public, press and policy makers on the impact and importance of this type of business to the general economy.

Credits
The project was initiated by Manon Schonewille, as freelance Communications Advisor. ABDC was responsible for interaction design, wireframes, detailed design and front-end development of the application into html/css based templates. The templates were integrated into the Genkgo tool by Verenigingenweb.
