A fun way to present research about the efficacy of mixing mediatypes when advertising

Magazines.nl is the he trade association for multimedia magazine brands in the Netherlands. Part of their mission is to promote the advertising in magazines. So when their own research found that mixed medium type advertising, including magazines, was more effective, they asked ABDC to device a way to present this research in a fun and effective way.

Mediamixer when opened: very basic instructions

The concept of an actual mixer added a bit of fun to the research and also emphasized the key to the research: mixing media is great way to get effective advertising campaigns. The website made it possible to drop branches and target audiences in the mixer, and after blending the results for that mix was presented. This data could then of course also be copied or exported to be used in media planning proposals and presentations.
