Yoon Young Bae is a South Korean Model. After creating a memento mori using pictures of Christy Turlington I was looking to celebrate life, youth, and exuberance. And what better way than to use flowers. I was looking to make something beautiful. I was wrong.
I used the same low resolution of 500 x 500 pixels as before. Here it reads less as pixel art than as thick dabs of paint. In spite of myself these portraits have a fairly traditional art look about them. Beautiful in their own way.
