Drawings with acrylic paint pens on a brochure for books by Edward Tufte. The original is the original brochure, intact, with the drawings on the pages.
This brochure was included in one of Tufte’s books to promote his other books. I have collected all these. They address the visual display of quantitive information, how visual deesign can be used to clarify, accentuate, overview of data.
I found it funny to subvert this notion by drawing random and irrelevant figures on every page. Each with its own pen or brush. Each with its own style or concept. Suggesting meaning, maybe even creating it.
