I regularly check the page on the MOMA website that shows the original Spectrum Colors Arranged by Chance by Ellsworth Kelly. And I noticed that they have again changed the image.
Below are three pictures that I generated by reading the RGB values from the MOMA picture and drawing the squares with computer in the original order. This shows how the colors have shifted between versions. The updated version in 2023 was maybe a bit too saturated to be true to the actual physical work; it might have been a color-profile issue.
So I must make a new work, using the same procedures / code as the previous one and the original one, based on the new MOMA image:
