I wanted a high resolution version of that <a href=\"https:\/\/andrebrocatus.com\/art\/untitled-riot\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"3197\">photograph of RIOT<\/a> for the page on my version. And that&#8217;s when I found out that the images on <a href=\"https:\/\/wool735.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/wool735.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Christopher Wool&#8217;s website<\/a> are accessible via <a href=\"https:\/\/wool735.com\/assets\/uploads\/_details\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">directory listings<\/a>, which means they can be accessed directly, and in bulk, and I set out to download them all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A lot of the photos on his site are of works in context, of an exhibition, or are actually photographs as works. When I was looking for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CCMhoLbl6Py\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">a Wool to use<\/a> in my Monochromasters, I wondered how much it really would matter to choose one work over the other as they are all pretty monochromatic. And so I chose to approach this one differently, as a body of work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I downloaded all the images from the website and created a monochrome image from each, and Displayed these all on one page next to each other. And they also resembled some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moma.org\/collection\/works\/221780\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">odd<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moma.org\/collection\/works\/221781\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">interesting<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moma.org\/collection\/works\/221782\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Christopher<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moma.org\/collection\/works\/221783\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Wool<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moma.org\/collection\/works\/221784\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">works<\/a> I found on MOMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So I selected a few of these sections and printed them on paper, using the same process I used for the <a href=\"https:\/\/andrebrocatus.com\/art\/monochromasters-expo-2020\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1648\">Monochromaster print<\/a>s: Glicee print on Olmec paper.
